Lessons emphasize crosswalk scanning on the Ave (University Way NE) and NE 45th Street, bus-lane and bike-lane discipline on Roosevelt and 11th/12th Ave NE, drawbridge protocol at the Montlake Bridge, and the I-5 express-lane ramps at 45th and 50th — some of the trickiest freeway entrances in the city. Programs & Pricing
Full Adult Driver Education Package — $500. This adult driving course is designed for beginners who want to build driving skills through short daily lessons. The program runs for 6 courses, with one hour of private instruction each day. Students receive hands-on training with a certified instructor while practicing real driving situations in Seattle. The lessons focus on building confidence, safe driving habits, and preparation for the Washington State driving test. Topics covered include vehicle control, lane changing, turning at intersections, parking techniques, defensive driving, and city traffic practice. One-on-one instruction ensures that each student receives personalized guidance and faster progress.
Full Teen Driver Education Package — $400. A comprehensive driver education package designed for teens, covering all required training and testing components. This program includes 30 hours of classroom instruction (as required by Washington State), 6 hours of behind-the-wheel driving lessons with a certified instructor, as well as both the knowledge test and the official road skills test. It is structured to fully prepare students for safe driving and successful licensing.

I'm a UW student who never learned to drive. Is it too late?
Not remotely — adult first-timers are one of our largest student groups. Our $115/hr one-on-one lessons progress at your pace, with campus pick-up and evening/weekend slots that fit around classes. Most adult beginners are test-ready in 8–12 hours of instruction.
Do you pick up on or near the UW campus?
Yes — we arrange pick-up points around the U District, including near campus and in Ravenna and Wedgwood. Your instructor arrives in a dual-control training vehicle.
Which test do I take to get my license as an adult?
Washington requires a knowledge test and a skills test. We administer both at our Burien location ($35 knowledge / $70 skills), and your lessons culminate in a full mock test on comparable roads so nothing on test day surprises you.
