SeaTac drivers face a unique environment: the constant flow of airport traffic, rideshare pick-ups, and the International Boulevard corridor. Seattle One's office sits just seven minutes west in Burien, and our instructors train SeaTac students on the exact roads they'll use daily.
How We Train in SeaTac
Lessons begin on the calm residential streets around Angle Lake and McMicken Heights, then move to International Blvd (SR-99) — where students master timed lights, transit lanes, and light-rail station crossings at Tukwila International Blvd and Angle Lake stations. Advanced sessions cover SR-518, SR-509, and the airport expressway interchanges, the highest-value freeway practice in South King County.

Instructor's note: Light-rail crossings and dedicated transit lanes on International Blvd are a frequent test-day trap — we drill them until they're routine.

SeaTac Questions
Do you pick up students in SeaTac?
Yes — pick-up and drop-off are available throughout SeaTac, including Angle Lake, McMicken Heights, Bow Lake, and the Riverton Heights area. We're only about 7 minutes away, so scheduling is flexible.
Where do SeaTac students take the WA driving test?
Right at our Burien office, 7 minutes away: we administer the official DOL knowledge test ($35) and skills test ($70) on site, which usually means faster appointments than a DOL office.
Will lessons cover driving near Sea-Tac Airport?
Yes. Once fundamentals are solid, we practice the airport corridor — SR-518 merges, the arrivals/departures split, and heavy rideshare zones — so airport trips never intimidate you.
